This five bedroomed house was designed for a large family who was looking for a quiet and safe street near the children’s school. Even though it was technically a renovation, very little of the old house remained standing and the new house has a dramatically different outlook to the street and the surroundings. Large communal spaces flow seamlessly into each other, making it a great family home and also great for indoor and outdoor entertainment.

To the South, large windows overlook the mountains while the Northern balconies and bedrooms enjoy endless views over the city, which is especially exciting at night when it turns into a sea of lights.  The brief requested traditional and somewhat classical detailing and finishes while at the same time remaining sober, light and pleasant.
